Cup Series Win in Mexico!
What an incredible couple of days—it still hasn’t fully sunk in. We took the win here in Mexico, and I couldn’t be more proud of the entire team. Honestly, I wasn’t feeling 100% today. Woke up feeling pretty rough, and there were moments where I didn’t think I’d even make it through the race, let alone end up in Victory Lane. But racing has a way of surprising you.
Massive thank you to SafetyCulture, Trackhouse Racing, and Team Chevy—this win belongs to all of you. The crew had the car absolutely dialed in for that final stint. It was like something switched on. The balance, the grip, the speed—it just all came together. I could feel it underneath me, and every lap I was watching the mirror as the gap grew. Seeing the rest of the field shrink behind me gave me all the motivation I needed to keep pushing.
This one means a lot—not just because it’s a Cup Series win, but because of where we got it. Racing in Mexico, with the energy from these fans, the culture, the colors, and the passion, is something I’ll never forget. It was electric out there. I’m honored to be a part of that moment.
