According to reports, the wife of Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell, Holly Campbell, was involved in an ATV accident over the weekend. The family has released a statement, which reads:
“Our family has been through a tough time over the weekend. On Saturday, Holly was involved in an ATV accident. Unfortunately, she suffered significant injuries and passed away. We are all devastated by the loss of our beloved wife, mother, and friend.
Dan and our family are heartbroken and want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. We will be private as we grieve and ask that you respect our wishes.”
The Detroit Lions organization has also released a statement, offering condolences to the Campbell family.
This is a tragic and heartbreaking situation. My thoughts and prayers go out to Coach Campbell, his family, and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
