Last Call for Treylon Burks

The Titans made a bold move in 2022—trading star receiver A.J. Brown and using the pick to draft Treylon Burks as his replacement. It was a franchise-defining decision. But three seasons in, that gamble looks more like a miss than a masterpiece.

Burks has struggled to stay healthy and consistent, tallying fewer than 800 total yards and just one touchdown through his first three years. Not once has he surpassed 500 receiving yards in a season. Once seen as a physical, playmaking weapon, Burks has faded into the background of Tennessee’s offense.

Now, 2025 marks the final year of his rookie contract—and possibly his final shot. With a revamped offense and a young quarterback in Will Levis, Burks must prove he can be more than a first-round footnote. The potential is still there, but potential only matters if it translates to production.

This is it. One more injury, one more quiet season, and his time in Tennessee—and maybe his place in the league—could be over.

The clock is ticking. The opportunity is fleeting.

It’s last call for Treylon Burks.
