If Christian Mahogany can be just good, and based on his college play I believe he can be, that would go a long way toward solidifying confidence in the interior offensive line. He’s got the physicality, tenacity, and anchor to handle NFL-level strength, and while there may be a transition period, his ceiling is higher than many give him credit for. Consistency and health will be key, but his potential alone brings a sense of stability to what has been a question mark for some time.
Brad Holmes has already earned a reputation as a masterful GM, particularly in identifying talent others overlook and maximizing value. If Mahogany pans out, it wouldn’t just be another solid pick — it would be yet another example of Holmes working magic in the draft room. And honestly, this 2024 class is shaping up to be something special. The combination of high-character guys and athletic upside across the board gives real reason for optimism.
I’ve got a lot of love for prospects like Maason Wingo, Terrion Arnold, Ennis Rakestraw Jr., and Sione Vaki — all of whom bring versatility, toughness, and leadership. Adding Mahogany to that mix feels like the perfect cherry on top. Each player fills a need while also reinforcing the identity the front office is building. If this group develops the way I think it can, we’re looking at a foundation that could define this team for years to come. The 2024 draft might end up being a cornerstone.
