
The 2025–2026 Mister and Miss Alabama A&M University Coronation will be a historic and momentous occasion, taking place on Friday, Sept. 19, at 6:00 p.m. in Elmore Gymnasium. This year’s coronation is especially significant as it marks the first time a Mister Alabama A&M University will serve alongside Miss AAMU, symbolizing a new chapter in the University’s legacy of student leadership. Representing the excellence, pride, and mission of the Bulldog community, these two student ambassadors will embody the values of service, academic excellence, and school spirit.
Jacoriah Tigner, a senior accounting major from Roanoke, Alabama, will be crowned as the 75th Miss Alabama A&M University. With her strong academic background and deep commitment to community involvement, she stands as a shining example of what it means to be a leader at AAMU. Joining her in this historic role is Maxwell Joyner, a senior plant biotechnology major from Warner Robins, Georgia, who will serve as the first-ever Mister AAMU. His election marks a significant step toward inclusivity and progress, highlighting the evolving representation within student leadership.
Together, Tigner and Joyner will represent Alabama A&M at campus and community events, carrying forth the rich traditions of the University while ushering in a bold new era. Their roles are not just ceremonial—they are a call to action, unity, and inspiration for the student body. This milestone coronation celebrates heritage, honors leadership, and sets the tone for a future grounded in excellence.
