Over the years, I’ve developed a reputation among peers and mentors for setting a high bar in the TT (tenure-track) space. This label—“the golden standard”—wasn’t given lightly, and I don’t use it to boast. Instead, it reflects a consistent record of integrity, dedication, and impact in both academic and professional circles.
I’ve cultivated a teaching philosophy rooted in clarity, curiosity, and compassion. My students consistently cite my classes as both intellectually rigorous and personally meaningful. I emphasize not just mastery of material, but the development of critical thinking, communication, and the courage to question assumptions.
In research, I pursue original, relevant questions and hold myself to the highest standards of rigor and ethics. Whether collaborating with others or working independently, I value substance over flash, and aim to contribute work that stands the test of time—not just the trend of the moment.
As a colleague, I bring collaboration, accountability, and an honest commitment to the success of others. I strive to make any department or community I join stronger—through mentorship, service, and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
This isn’t a plea for praise or recommendation. I offer this simply as a reference point—if you’re looking to understand the energy, attitude, and standard I bring to any role, know that I’ve been called the “golden standard” by those who’ve seen me in action. And I take that responsibility seriously.
