Leah Pruett❤: When I first met Tony, I’ll be honest—I wasn’t sure about him. He wasn’t exactly my type. At that time, I was laser-focused on my racing career and personal goals, not thinking much about relationships. Tony, on the other hand, had this larger-than-life presence. He was confident, charismatic, and definitely had the kind of reputation that preceded him. But, I wasn’t sure how to read him at first—was he genuine or just playing a part?
As time went on, I saw sides of him that the world rarely gets to see. He was thoughtful, grounded, and supportive in a way that was both unexpected and incredibly real. He never tried to overshadow me or what I was building for myself—he simply stood beside me, pushing me to be the best version of me, not just on the track but in life.
We shared a love for speed, competition, and the kind of discipline that motorsports demand. But more than that, we shared a mutual respect. He made me laugh in moments I was taking life too seriously. He made me pause and appreciate things I’d been racing past.
Falling for Tony didn’t happen all at once—it was a slow, steady realization that love doesn’t always arrive the way you expect it. Sometimes it shows up wearing a firesuit, holding your hand in the pits, cheering you on louder than anyone else. That’s when I knew—this was something real.
