Want to know something cool? Today was my very first time driving an XGT car at Road America — and it was absolutely unforgettable. We pushed hard, found our rhythm, and ended the day with a best lap time of 2:13.3. For a first outing, that’s something I’m seriously proud of.

Today was my very first time driving an XGT car at Road America — and it was absolutely unforgettable. We pushed hard, found our rhythm, and ended the day with a best lap time of 2:13.3. For a first outing, that’s something I’m seriously proud of.

But here’s where it gets really interesting. The last time the NASCAR Cup Series raced at Road America was back in 2022. Those are some of the best drivers in the country in some of the most finely tuned stock cars on the planet. And the fastest qualifier that weekend? He clocked in at 2:14.4.

That means our XGT lap was over a second faster than the quickest Cup Car that day.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Of course, there are differences between the cars — weight, setup, tires — but the comparison still speaks volumes. It’s a testament to the incredible performance of the XGT platform and how far racing tech has come. And for me personally, it’s a massive confidence boost and a sign that we’re on the right track, both literally and figuratively.

This kind of progress doesn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of great support, a dedicated team, and putting in the work — mentally and physically.

Can’t wait to see what we do next time. But for now, I’m just soaking this in.
