Netflix is set to release a compelling new documentary spotlighting dirt racing icon Scott Bloomquist, chronicling his legendary career and recent return to the track. Titled “Black Sunshine: The Scott Bloomquist Story,” the film dives deep into the life of one of motorsports’ most enigmatic and controversial figures.
Widely regarded as a pioneer in late model dirt racing, Bloomquist has amassed hundreds of wins and multiple national championships over a four-decade career. Known as much for his bold personality and unconventional methods as his dominance on the track, Bloomquist has long been a fan favorite—and a polarizing figure in the racing world.
