If players like Steve McNair, Derrick Henry, Chris Johnson, and Jurrell Casey were on the list, it’s a solid and well-rounded selection. McNair, co-MVP in 2003, was not only a statistical leader but a symbol of toughness and leadership. His impact in the early 2000s, including a near-Super Bowl win, helped define the Titans’ identity. Chris Johnson’s 2,000-yard season in 2009 remains one of the most electric campaigns in NFL history. Derrick Henry has redefined power running in the modern game and has carried the franchise during multiple playoff runs, earning All-Pro honors. Jurrell Casey, while less flashy, was a consistent defensive force and leader on and off the field for nearly a decade.
However, one could argue the omission of players like Keith Bulluck or Taylor Lewan depending on how the list was compiled. Bulluck was a defensive cornerstone, and Lewan was a Pro Bowl mainstay during crucial seasons.
Ultimately, while you might not agree 100% with the list, it reflects a reasonable and balanced look at Titans’ excellence in the 21st century. Context, longevity, and peak performance seem to have been considered, which gives the list credibility. Still, there’s always room for debate in a franchise with a passionate fan base.
